I haven't blogged lately as I was busy getting ready for my move back into The Barn. I moved in yesterday and I am sooo happy to be back. My 6 month hiatus gave me some time to think, re-focus and find my passion for my business again. I am way happy with my small spot upstairs and very hopeful for the future. I found I missed the other vendors, the customers, and even cranky Gerry (but don't tell him). Although I never totally went away (selling on consignment), I missed being a working vendor and missed having my own spot. So I face the new year with a new sense of purpose and outlook.
On another subject, I was surprised when I opened up my new Victoria magazine, to see my friend Joy's shop, Patina, featured in a 4 page spread. Joy had told me the shop was to be in the magazine, but they had originally said it wouldn't be until June. She also was originally slated to be in a feature on the shops of Denver, with some other shops in the area, but they changed their minds and gave Patina a full spread. Congratulations Joy!
