I've very busy the last few days, finishing a wholesale order and also giving my space at the Barn a complete renovation. I made a wainscot in one section out of cedar fencing painted to look like barn wood, added some burlap to make a wall on top of that and painted the entire floor. I'm almost through with that, I will post pictures when I'm done.
I did have time to do a quickie project. This was very simple, just a thin wood heart shape I got at the craft store (8-1/2 inches), a vintage advertising image (The Graphics Fairy), and A little ink around the edges. You will have to decrease the margins of the page when you print the ad so that it's as big as possible. The paper still be a little short at the bottom, but with the inking, you won't see that. I used spray adhesive, applied the paper and cut out with a craft knife around the heart shape. I used an old brown ink pad and just rubbed the pad directly onto the edges, then angled up onto the paper. My friend who ordered the burlap runners, also wants some of these for her show.

Oh, SOOO pretty!!! I love it! And I love this graphic--I use it in so many things...it looks scrumptious on your heart.
