It's Sale Time Again

It's that time again - my sale at Room With a Past starts Thursday night. I'm so excited, I'm all set up and ready to go. I was very happy with my sales last month, so I have expanded into a bigger space

I thought I posted a blog on my spot last month, but it's not there - I must have forgot to publish or something, so I'm going to post lots of pictures this month.

The star of the sale this month has got to be the french grain sack bags made by my friend Lainey. They are nothing short of fabulous. A fellow vendor thought they must be the real deal, and could hardly believe they were newly made - they are that good. I'm going to be offering them on my website as well.

I have a lot of other really nice things too, so I am hopeful I will do well again this month. I love the concept of re-inventing my space each month and it help me keep creatively challenged. This month I tried to do some spring oriented things with some birds and nest images.

I used the existing fireplace mantle that was in the space - it's beautiful and a great display piece. We have a lot of oak trees around the property and with the recent storm a lot of them fell to the ground. They are quite beautiful, covered in moss and all bent and gnarly. I used some of them in my display to bring in a touch of nature.
